You asked: What can I do to help my dark under eye circles?
Victoria answered: First of all try to get some more sleep and drink at least eight glasses of water a day. Try an eye mask, Sisley to a very good one that can reduce dark circles. Use Bobbi Brown eye brightener, on the under eye, apply with the brush provided or a finger, finish with translucent powder to set.
You asked: What's the best way to cover blemishes? I have 'problem' skin and acne scars.
Victoria answered: First of all consult a dermatologist, problem skin can be dealt with, never suffer in silence! Chanel pro lumiere has great coverage but still looks natural. Apply with a foundation brush for a more professional long lasting finish. Set with translucent powder. If you have any visible blemishes after applying the foundation, use Mac mineralize powder with a brush to cover, just keep applying until the blemish is no longer visible.
You asked: How can you avoid mascara clumps? Is there a technique to use or would you recommend a particular brand?
Victoria answered: Trish McEvoy does a high volume mascara that doesn't clump at all. If you want to use your normal mascara apply as normal, then before it dries work a fan brush through, (available from Mac) to separate and remove clumps. Keep going with the fan brush every time you apply a fresh coat of mascara.

You asked: I need a foundation that looks really natural but does cover imperfections, what can you recommend? Preferably something not too expensive....
Victoria answered: I recommend Bobbi Brown's foundation stick £26. Apply with a foundation brush or sponge. This foundation has medium to full coverage and comes in a great range of colours.

Victoria answered: Try Giorgio Armani long lasting silk foundation, a make up artist/celebrity favourite.
You asked: What make up will make my skin look fair, bright and fresh?
Victoria answered: Exfoliate to remove any dead skin cells, moisturise. Use a tinted moisturiser Laura Merciers is great, add in some peach illuminator by boots No.7, for an extra glowy/dewy effect. Then apply a Bobbi Brown pot rouge in powder pink, to the apples of the cheeks, and the lips. Finish with two coats of black mascara and a clear lip gloss.

Victoria answered: Maybelline colossal volume express waterproof express mascara.
You asked: I just came back from Spain and have blistered, peeling skin. What can you recommend?
Victoria answered: First of all never go in the sun without proper sun protection, it's dangerous and potentially life threatening. I would use aloe Vera to sooth the skin. Elizabeth Arden's eight hour cream was first invented for burns victims, I would slather some of that on daily until healed.
You asked: What's the best thing for spider veins on face?
Victoria answered: Start with a good foundation as a base, I would go for Chanel's pro lumiere. Then apply Mac studio sculpt concealer, this is a long lasting, water resistant concealer, with a matte finish. This should keep the spider veins hidden all day. Set with translucent powder, for longevity.

You asked: I have the most awful double chin. Could a change in approach to my approach to my make-up help to disguise it?
Victoria answered: Contouring would help, on the jaw line. Use a contouring brush (available from Mac) and a taupe powder on the jaw line. Blend well, you are creating a shadow effect, which will sharpen the jaw line and reduce the appearance of a double chin. Suck in your cheeks and apply the same taupe powder, under the cheek bone area, to create the illusion of cheek bones, again blend well.
You asked: I have quite a lot of lines above my top lips. How can I reduce or make them less noticeable?
Victoria answered: Dr Brants lines no more patted on to the lip area, to plump out lines. Followed by a light reflecting concealer such as touché éclat, just around the lip line. Use a light foundation Macs face and body is perfect, and doesn't sit on fine lines.
You asked: My skin is bad, I still break out in spots and I have really visible pores. What foundation can I use to make my skin look better?
Victoria answered: I suggest a full coverage foundation, Chanel Pro Lumiere applied with a foundation brush.
You asked: I have dry skin, when I use foundation it starts looking cakey & my skin looks even drier within a couple of hours. Any advice?
Victoria answered: I would exfoliate at least twice a week, to get rid of any dead skin cells. Use a good moisturiser Dermologica active moist, is perfect, just before applying foundation. Use a liquid foundation such as Bobbi Browns moisture rich foundation, that covers but hydrates the skin.
