As for Atkins, I tried this years ago, and it works, but you have to eat a lot for it to work and I am not a big eater so it did not last long. I felt like I was eating all the time and too much of it...  And if I cut something out or had smaller portions the results tended to go haywire.

As for the Kush - who uses that?  I have never heard of it and it seems weird?  I don't think I could actually go to sleep with a thing between my boobs if I am honest???  Am I the only one who thinks this?  I do not mind if someone else uses it and they are happy too, but I do not think it is for me...

reg atkins diet,

as this is aimed at older women i dont see what all the hype is about aws the older we get the more chances we are at risk of osteoporousis anyweay and i think its just linking this to the artkins diet as its labeledtowards older women anyway, its alot of nonsence ive knows alot of women through out my life whos used this diet for months at a time and even in there 50 an early 60s theyve no sign of there bones deterioating,i just think its another thing on the media to moan about along with gps as this diet has never been recommended in the past for any good,

Its a question of changing a particular mind set, the best and only way to loose weight is over time, with patience, enjoying a varied and balanced diet of all foods, even the naughty ones in moderation. No reason why you shouldnt have your fav chocy bar, but do it as a special treat that way you are not totally depriving yourself of something you like, we all know what will put weight on or help to take it off so its just having a healthy sensible attitude....

I think the best way to diet eat smaller portions of freshly made food, even if you freeze leftovers they are still better than ready made meals & you know what's in them. I find that eating plenty of  fruit & vegatables is very filling. Avoiding aisles with buscuits helps too when shopping. If your like me and like snacks especially in the evening. Just think to yourself do I eat a whole banana which is filling or one chocolate biscuit ( which usally leads to 2 then 3 etc).  Another thing that helps me is to drink plenty of water (or fluid ) in the hour before a meal then I'm not so hungry when it's time to eat.

I have to admit that The atkins diet does seem to be quite an arduous way to lose weight and from what I've been told by other people the side efects can be quite severe so not for me!

The Atkins diet has never appealed to me due to the severe side effects reported in the press.  I much prefer to moderate my diet to cut out the crap and try and eat healthily and exercise in moderation.
