I know that it is not everybodies cup of tea but I find getting jiggy with my partner followed by a hot bath together gets rid of all stresses of the day and leaves us both with smiles on our faces

I like a nice hot shower and then into my jammies, my furry dressing gown and Piglet slippers.  Then settling down on the sofa with a hot tea and a blanket.  Then my furbabies (doggies) climb up and cuddle with me.  Bliss :)

I know this is going to sound really corny but I am normally quite a relaxed person anyway, but if I do find I am a little stressed for any reason I normally give one of my dogs a great big cuddle or tell my husband how stressed I am feeling and he makes sure he is there for me.

I unplug the phone and have a long soak in a Radox bath and listen to either a dolphin cd or music of the rainforest, both cds are relaxing and as I am listening to it and relaxing in the bath I find myself unwinding and all my muscles and joints becoming less tensed up.  I also warn my sons (aged 17 & 22) that I do not want to be disturbed for at least half hour, or better still when they hear me leave the bathroom.

A big mug of green tea, big bag of marshmallows while sitting on your sofa with your feet up, strawberry face mask on getting your nails done.  Talk about perfection.

I slow my breathing and try to relax as much as possible in a quiet, enjoyable environment i.e. my bedroom with classical music playing. Also if there are things on my mind that are stressing me out I write them all down and that helps put them all in perspective.

A nice, hot, aromatic bubble bath with a salt rub and milk. Oh, and leave-in conditioner with rose petals in the water. Oh, and a romantic book to read while you rest, Oh, and candles. Oh, and a nice fluffy towel and pillow. Oh, and some soft music. Works wonders.

As soon as you get it put some milk onto heat up.

Go upstairs, get out of your work clothes and into you leisure suit - don't laugh, this is you time not look at me time! If you can't face buying a leisure suit then trackies and a hoodie or PJs and a dresing gown will do!

Go and use your warm milk to make a big mug of hot chocolate.

Snuggle under a blankie on the sofa or in a big comfy chair with some soothing music turned low, read a book and sip your choccie.

Bliss!
