Review a pampering organic foot balm from Botanicals [Now Closed]
One of the last parts of your body you might think about when getting your skin summer-ready is your feet. But as anyone who’s whipped out their summer sandals recently will know, dry cracked heels can be very unsightly!
Team TP was recently sent a sample of award-winning Botanicals’ Organic Foot Balm, and let me tell you it was exactly what my weary feet needed.
Botanicals would love a couple of TP members to give a review of the Foot Balm. Particularly effective on softening and revitalising hard, dry skin, the whipped foot balm is a combination of organic shea butter with cold-pressed organic oils, and natural vitamin E, enhanced with pure organic essential oils.

I would love to try this product,my feet are such a sore subject so im not going to give anyone the cringes and tell you about them so what i can say is i have tried numerous products for my heels from moisturisers to scholl which did help(a little)and the imarry board things(which i can't remember the name of).
My mum says my feet are terrible for a "girl" of my age(29).I NEVER wear sandles or pretty shoes that don't cover my heals COMPLETLY.I can make a joke of it but it does affect me personaly and my confidence, imagine this, snuggeling up with your loved one, really cosey and snuggely and then he says "ewwwww,is that your feet, you need to sort them babe".Its quite a turn off,for both partys, you can imagine.Yuk I know.
I hate even talking about feet,I would love nothing more than to be in flip flops, maybe not this summer(i live in scotland)but for sure by next. Thanks for reading.
The most effective solution I have discovered for tired heels, and as a busy hairdresser and mother I get them, would be a long soak in the bath with some essential oils, then allowing my feet to dry exfoiliating with a good scrub and a file, followed by a foot balm and a night of resting them!
Being from the beach and moving to bustling London my skin, notably my feet are dry and white! While being used to sand, water and sun now I have begun getting the occasional pedicure. But when time and money does not permit, I apply some oils to my cuticles, I use a foot scrub for the hard bits and maybe massage them a bit myself. Mint scented moisturizer is always a bonus.
As a 54 year old waitress/cook I am on my feet for 8 hours(during shift)& need lots of help to keep my poor feet soft.My tip is to mix olive oil with rose essential oil add a handful of sea salt & massage.Wash off sea salt & massage in rose & olive oil, leave as long as possible. To sample anything less time consuming would be a bonus!
It would be nice to try this foot balm, as I have very hard skin on my heels which crack in the summer, trouble is I walk around bare footed around the house and garden all summer long, I do use foot files and pumice stones to get rid of the hard skin but still does not go completely. I use lots of creams on my feet but nothing is very good so I would love to give this Botanicals Organic Foot balm a try.
Feet is a rather touchy subject for my self. I am so self consious, especially now its summer and I should be wearing pretty little slip ons or sandles but I just cant bear it, my heals and I think its like the ball of my feet are so so bad. My mum tells me my feet are terrible for a girl of my age. The cracks are so bad that they hurt and I do try to use you know the feet file but that seems to hurt also,I just wish id normal feet!
It sounds funny reading back on what ive wrote here but I think Im a very self consious person and if I didnt laugh id cry :-(.
Id love to try out this product,or if not i shall read the reviews and probaly end up trying it anywayz, but honestly they are that bad just now i dont know if its maybe a foot doctor I need lol.
Im so embaressed now. Thanks guys xox.
I've never found anything that works completely on my feet, but what works best for me is just before going to bed I use a footfile on my feet and then I wash them. After washing I then put lots of moisturising cream on them (currently using a cream of orange and geranium made by Holistix) then I put on cotton socks. My feet feel lovely and smooth the next morning, but sadly it doesn't last :(
I soak my feet in warm water with lemon juice for 15 mins then warm soapy water for 15 minutes then I pumice my feet and cover them in a really good moisturiser and put some cotton socks on. Lovely!
I also make sure that I wear good shoes as this is really important for your feet!
On a night out your feet can get really sore after dancing with high heels. The next morning, soak your feet in hot water with franganced bath salts and bath oil, as the salts cure any wounds you might have and remineralize your skin, and the bath oil really mosturizes your feet and leave them smelling great. Leave them soaking for 20, then dry them witha towel and apply some botanics Mint and tea tree foot balm. Results: feet like new!
I would really like to try out this product as there are very few on the market that actually work. As such, I tend to soak my feet in a bowl of warm water with epsom salts, use a foot scrub and loofah and lather on loads of foot cream. It is also great to place vaseline on the soles and balls of feet and cover with socks before going to bed.
Soak feet in warm water with a foot soak preparation and dry your feet thoughly. Using a foot file gently rub over any hard skin especially your heels. Massage foot cream over your feet paying special attention to the heels and put on a pair of old cotton socks so that the cream softens and nourishes your 'tootsies'.
