Hi I'm forty one years old I have had two boys both in their twenties now I had a hysterectomy back in 1997 have been taking HRT ever since. After the op my skin hair nailsplus my general weelbieng was great everythng looked and felt lovely.Howevr in the last two years I have had a Back operation go wrong which has left me in chronic pain and resorting to some serious medication.I have really gone down hill and this is having a awful effect on my body ,My nails are shot and so weak my hair I think even my hairdresser has given up now my skin has become sallow looking and spotty .I would love to trial this product as it is quite exppensive but I have wondered whether this product would help,I need some cheering up to try to feel good again .Even if it is only a small change would be an improvement.I would love to report if this product really does help as I'm sure there are lots of other women out there in the same place I am .
Hi there 3 quarters through my second pack and YES i do see a big difference and others have noticed also,my hair has shine to it,my nails are stronger although i have been keeping them relatively shortish,my skin is glowing,I suffer from ME/CFS AND fIBRO and maybe its having a placebo effect but this is the best i have felt in a long time,So if it is Perfectil i will continue to use this product all the time,Still got a full pack to finish and i cant wait if this is the results i am seeing just now,And i feel happy i have not felt happy for so long struggling with this illness i am not saying all my symptoms are gone far from it but i do feel better thanks Jackie
Hi just finished my 90 day trial and am very pleased with the results for my skin, it is not so red and the flakyness has gone enabling my to apply my foundation better which looks more natural without the lumps and bumps underneath. This has given my confindence a huge boost.
I think it did help my nails but despite trying to be good to my hands - wearing rubber gloves for cleaning and gardening - being a busy mum forget a lot of the time so any good it is doing I guess I am undoing.
My hair I'm not so sure as it is hard to tell as I colour it and this can dry it out.
I would like to continue using this product just to keep my skin nice.
Hi there i am now on my second batch,I am seeing a difference to my skin and nails my nails are growing a bit quicker than normal,I wonder if thats been the same for any one else,I think i will see a difference after i have finished the 3 months course so i will keep you all posted thanks Jackie
I sthis product still up for testing? I wowld love to try it! I have never been able to grow my nails hey just snap as soon as they grow above the finger level! Ive always wanted my own long strong nails, i also have bad skin and bad hair! Please let me try! thanks :)
HI all
Well I've just finished my 90 day supply of Perfectil Plus and I have been so pleased with the results! My rosacea has really improved, I can even have the odd drink now without my cheeks glowing red! My skin is definitely glowing and I'm getting less spots - I'm going on holiday in a few weeks and feel much better about lying by the pool with no make up on! The only place I haven't noticed an improvement in my skin as much is my back and chest but that may be due to using sun lotion in the hot weather we had recently.
My nails and hair have also improved, my hair is shinier and my nails seem stronger - I actually have nails that are all similar in lenght at the moment!
So, overall, thank you for letting me do the trial and I will hopefully buy the product if it is not too expensive. I'd also be happy to do further trials for you.
Just finished the 90 day trial and my nails have definatly grown faster and stronger and I have also lost the ridge lines on my thumb nails. not noticed any change with my hair maybe slightly more manageable if that. My skin looks brighter but not really noticed fine line fading.
I am so pleased with the results I've seen in my nail growth and they don't split anymore, GREAT !! I can still see where my nail on one finger was split down to the base but it doesn't cause be any problems as not only are my nails growing longer faster they seem softer not hard and brittle. My hair seems to be growing faster too. However I have not noticed a change in my complexion. Thank you for the trial, I would actually buy this product at the right price if I knew where?
I have completed my 90 day trial and have the following thoughts.
Nails: v little improvement - I took before and after photographs, and my nails are still ridged in both photos.
Skin: hard to tell, I cannot see any signs of improvement as my wrinkles only seem deeper!
Hair: Throughout the trial I thought the biggest improvement was in my hair, which appears glossier - however, in the past couple of months my hair has been falling out at an alarming rate, so that is not something I was expecting!
Overall, on the basis of the increased hair shine, I would continue to take Perfectil Plus if they produced a vegetarian-friendly version. I have been encouraged by other's positive comment son here and would like to see if improvements continued over a longer period.
Thanks for letting me trial Perfectil Plus.
Unfortunately the benefits haven't been that noticeable. I have been diagnosed recently with Underactive thyroid and although I was on medication and my thyroid levels were good, I took a dip a few weeks ago and am now underactive again (have increased my medication as a result). Therefore this will make the results a bit thin.
However, I would like to say that despite going underactive I haven't noticed any worsening of my hair and nails and skin, which I would expect with going underactive.
Sorry I haven't been able to produce the positive results you wanted, which you may have got if I hadn't gotten ill again.
Hi
I have just completed the 3 month trial of Perfectil plus trial and I must admit my nails have definately improved but skin and hair I cannot see any difference at all. I have had a particularly stressfull last month though which hasn't exactly helped with the trial. I don't think I would continue with the tablets as results have not been that impressive to be honest although I am glad I was chosen to do the trial and thank you again for picking me.
i havent quite finished perfectil plus yet but there has ben a lot of improvement with my nails which im wearing them long at the minute and iwear nail polish quite often to give them more effect and my facial skin it look so much younger and i seem to have a lot more energy
Hi everyone
I have just completed my 90 days and am very happy with my skin, possibly no fewer lines but much smoother and my hair is fuller and bouncier and softer. My nails have grown!!! Whilst I was doing the trial I was very good at cleansing and moisturising and drank more water so I think all of this added to the end results. My hair grows quicker so my roots need doing more often, which is a pain but I am happy to do that as once the grey has gone it looks really good. To be honest my skin has never looked so good and that really boosts my confidence, which in turn has helped at job interviews and I now have a temporary job - so life is good. Thank you for selecting me for this trail it has been life changing.
I am nearing the end of my trial and the biggest difference I have noticed is that my skin is a lot less dry considering it used to be so dry that I sufered from eczema patches on my face but it hasn;t helped the blemishes. I have also noticed that I have new fine hairs growing only they are not very strong as they fall out quite easily which is a shame but maybe longer term use of perfectil may make them stronger. I have not noticed much difference in my nails in fact they seem drier than before, but I do feel thatIi have a bit more energy and generally feel better in my self moodwise etc. which is good. I am very pleased that i have been able to trial this product!
I'm not far from the end of this trial now and the main differences I can see are that my hair is more oily which is requiring more washing, although the condition of it has improved. The other improvement is in my nails...they seem stronger and are growing quicker. My skin does have a little more moisture now, but taking Perfectail hasn't dramatically improved the look of it!!
Hi there was just wondering whats happened to the second batch it seems like most people are half way through their second batch and i have not got mine yet it seems a bit of a wasted study when you have finished your first lot and dont have any more, any one else the same as me thanks Jackie
Well, just started my last box of Perfectail so only one month to go. I have noticed my hair and nails are in better condition than before so yipee for that its been some years since my nails was in this condition and length, they alway break easy. Will let you know more at the end of the trial. Thank you for choosing me for part of the trial.

hi everyone im on my second batch of perfectil plus my nails are growing faster by the minute i usually bite them but im leaving them to grow ive even put some nail polish on now cause they look so healthy and strong i do feel like i have a bit more connfidence now i dont know if thats whats in the tablets has anybody else experienced more confidence i feel like i can focus on more things as well.
Hi, I've recently completed 2 months on the perfectil plus pills. My nails were the first thing to show signs of improvement, after just a few weeks they were stronger and growing really fast. My hair seems to be thicker and glossier and I don't get the bed head I once did.
I've recently noticed an improvement to my skin. I don't seem to have as many fine lines as I used to have, my skin looks plumper. I do still have lines but they're the laughter type lines that I can deal with - it's the smaller ones that I hated and they seem to have disappeared. I still have some kinda like under the skin spots on my chin but they don't seem as bad as they were, perhaps about a third as many. I've also noticed that I don't get dark circles any more. Dark circles were never a particular problem as they only appeared from time to time but when they did I found them hard to cover up. I've not had this problem for what seems like ages now and the only thing I have done different is take these pills.
I think these pills really suit me as I know my diet lacks a regular intake of fruit and veg so perhaps i'm getting much needed vitamins and minerals from them.
The recent test has been that we're having some work done on the house and it's times like these that my nails inparticular would really suffer, they seem really strong though and i'm having to file them down much more regularly than before.
Hi Everybody - I'm now into my 3rd week of the second month. My intention has been to write on here every 2 weeks but I have only disappointment! It seems as though my nails have stopped growing!! Having started with really awful nails, with the nail on my right ring finger having lost adherence to the nailbed in the top one-quarter of the nail I now have FOUR (YES 4) nails in similar condition, although the loss of adherence on the "new" 3 fingers is further down than on the right ring finger and, in fact, is almost half way down the nail on the left ring finger!! I was hoping that waiting the extra week might have shown some change but, alas, not. I now have this problem on both ring fingers and both little fingers, ie the same fingers on each hand! I don't know if this is significant. I don't know what has gone wrong. I've even given my nails Tea Tree Oil massages and baths over the past week but I cannot see any improvement.
At the moment, therefore, I am at the other end of the spectrum: having gone from elation because it seemed I might finally be getting the nails I dreamed of: I am now VERY disappointed because I seem to be having the same old nightmare over and over again.
I'm sorry I can't be more positive at the moment.
I have read other comments about hair being softer, etc so I decided to try not using conditioner to see what my hair feels like. I can say, here, that my hair is beautifully soft although there is no improvement in thickness but I assume that that is down to old age.
My skin has suddenly got PRONOUNCED creases around the jaw/jowl/mouth area. These are creases I had not noticed when looking in the mirror whilst doing my hair or putting on my daily moisturiser but I was in the back seat of a car on Saturday (29 May) and whenever I caught sight of myself in the driver's rear-view mirror I could see these "new" creases. Have my genes finally let me down or is there something here that only works for 4 weeks and after that time there is no longer any benefit to be gained? Certainly, as far as my nails and facial skin are concerned, this would seem to be the case.
I will finish this box and report back if there are any changes . . . or not.
For now, regretfully, I am VERY DISAPPOINTED.
Hi Grandma2Three
I spoke to the product team and they have the following response, hope it helps:
We are sorry to hear during the second month your nails and skin are not showing any improvement, but it’s good to hear your hair is benefiting and is now softer.
Just to provide you with some background, each nutrient is included on the basis of scientific evidence for helping to maintain the health of skin, hair and nails. The beneficial effects of some nutrients are highlighted below:
For skin health:
• Vitamin E – scavenges free radicals, helping to protect against the aging of skin tissues, which can cause wrinkles. It is also used to treat stretch marks, scar tissue, and to reduce inflammation caused by sunburn.
• Vitamin C – a central antioxidant, it is also a co-factor in the production of collagen, which gives skin strength and elasticity.
• B complex vitamins – involved in red blood cell production and blood circulation, thereby increasing the transport of nutrients to the dermis.
• Manganese - vital for healthy skin because of its role in connective tissue metabolism.
• Betacarotene – helps to reduce sun damage by increasing the skin’s antioxidant defences against ultraviolet radiation.
For nail health:
• Zinc - brittleness and white spots on nails are a common sign of zinc deficiency. Zinc is also needed for the formation of new nail material in the nail bed.
• Iron - iron deficiency can produce "spoon" nails and/or vertical ridges and can cause nails to become thin.
• L-Cystine - this sulphur containing amino acid is necessary for skin and nail growth.
• Vitamin C - hangnails and inflammation of the tissue surrounding the nail (paronychia) are linked to vitamin C deficiency.
For hair health:
• Biotin – stimulates growth of body cells and related to hair growth.
• Copper – necessary for hair strength and formation of hair follicles.
• Magnesium and zinc – hair loss can occur when the diet is deficient in either of these two important minerals.
• Iodine – essential for the production of thyroxine, a hormone which regulates metabolic rate. A lack of thyroxine can have a detrimental effect on the appearance of skin, hair and nails.
Results can vary amongst individuals, but in most cases it is expected the beneficial effects of the nutrients to build over several weeks, with noticeable results in one to three months. It appears you have been using Perfectil Plus for approximately 2 months now, and have seen some improvement, but because many factors are involved it is difficult to say why Perfectil Plus has not been of more benefit recently. Perfectil Plus has no known side-effects when taken as directed, and does not contain any ingredients known to compromise the condition of skin, hair and nails. We would recommend still continuing with Perfectil Plus for the rest of the trial period, to see if this additional period of supplementation helps to balance out any dietary deficiencies.
