Hair extensions - thoughts please!

Holly

Hi,

I'm going to stick my neck on the line here and admit that I'm considering hair extensions. I'd only consider properly ethically-sourced ones, I couldn't square it with my conscience otherwise.

I'd never really thought of having them, although I would really like longer, glamorous hair. Then I saw my (younger, more glamorous) sister and she had some and they looked fantastic. Not only that, but it seems that other than regular brushing, they naturally hang and look fantastic.

I have blonde hair, about shoulder-length but as a busy, working mum-of-three, I never find the time to actually DO anything with it, and I'd love it to just look lovely down.

Any thoughts? Has anyone had them? I've found someone to do them for me locally, and looked at her examples but anything I should be aware of? (Going to get them fused if I get them, not clipped in).

Help me girls!

You will still have to wash n streighten hair extensions they may damage your own hair Ive tried  bonded and glued each time damage was done to my natural hair,,better hair care products and a good hair n skin suplement will help... be aware of tying up your hair with abrasive or pulling clips that can lead to damage.."leave it and it will grow trim every 8 weeks and wash n condition weekly with products that suit yur hair type...paitience  it will grow.. Thanks Julie! We've just got a new puppy and he loves chewing my hair at the moment, so that has really put me off extensions! x

You really shouldn't let the dog sit on your head, Holly...

Wah! I guess this means you're all horrified by the idea?
