i would suggest using a toner, you can buy them from your salon or sallys salon supplies shop online or there are lots of stores nation wide, you do use some bleach with it but its only 2% and thats realy week! when ever someone has there hair bleached in a salon the hairdresser will always put a toner on after to reduce the yellow or orange tones and to add a subtle colour,i have mine bleached and it goes a horrible canery yellow or a bright orange colour and a toner has changed that compleatly,as you should see in my profile pic my hair is very pale blonde now and thats because i use a purple toner by matrix, its called pale violet,violet/purple/ble shampoo can help take out the yellow tones to and also now lee stafford has a product out that re tones hair to a lovely ash blonde it only costs about £6 and ther is 3 capsules in each box,you just wet hair and apply this purple stuff and leave for 5 minutes and then wash off, mine was a bit blue after and washed it twice to take the blue out but after that it was absolutly beautiful, hope at least some of these tips have been helpful

Not wanting to sound like I'm totally unoriginal but my girlfriend said lemons immeadiately, that was before I had read the posts. The method described evidently is good although I am told that you can also apply the lemon juice directly to the hair and then do as jackie2012 suggested. The washing and conditioning using shampoo and conditioner especially for blondes seems to be another critical factor but I think that is mainly as a better safe than sorry ploy rather than a way to lighten it. Obviously it is a sensible idea to wash and condition after applying lemon juice dilute or otherwise to your hair and head. You, no doubt, have already tried this suggestion by now, it would be interesting to hear how you got on. Oh by the way, my girlfriend is an Avon rep. and says that the Avon product suggested is not one she would suggest as it wouldn't really have the power to achieve the desired result unless you used copious amounts.

Hi there if you get a realy sunny day fill your sink in the bathroom then squezze the juice of 2 lemons into the water and rinse your hair with it dont dry it sit in the sun and let it dry with the sun it might feel a bit sticky once it has dried but just go in and wash and condition if you can use john frida for blondes,This has always worked for me the same if your blonde and your hair goes a shade of green with swimming this happens to natural blondes to smother your hair in tomato ketchup leave for 5 mins then rinse i cant explain but some chemical reaction takes place and it works hope this helps Jackie
