Why It's So Great To Be A Woman

Most of us spend our time hating ourselves as we're worried about one thing or another - whether it be our little tummy flab, or if that guy in the office fancies us, or even making sure we’re wearing the right knickers for a date we have later. The list is endless for women and so I thought it would probably be a good idea to remind you lovely ladies that it is actually GREAT being a woman. So, I decided to put together a relatively small but concise list of why it’s so bleedin’ fantastic to have the double X chromosome.

1. Men will always come and find you – you really don’t need to make that much of an effort. Remember ladies – a little lippy and straightening/curling your hair will make that little difference to getting people to talk to you. It also makes you feel good, so why not?

2. You always have your ladies to natter to. If your fella is being lame for whatever reason, or if you’re up for some boy-gossip in general, all you have to do is call up one of your close girly friends and chatter on into the night. They know what makes you feel better – most men don’t have a clue!

3. There’s one show and one show only that women understand and men are wholly confused by and that’s Sex and The City. It really is a satisfying moment to be laughing heartily at the silly things that the girls get up to on the show only to glance over and see your guy wonder what on earth is going on. This one is definitely ours for the keeping.

4. You never have to pick up a power tool and be expected to use it. And, for that reason you can always be sure that all those boring and fairly tedious household chores will get done, whilst you’re sitting back with a Mojito.

5. On those days that you wake up feeling so marvellous the world does actually smile with you! We’re not afraid of spreading a little love and joy in our lives if we know it’ll make someone else feel better – so go on, smile and spread the love today with a cuddle or two.
