What are we waiting for? Ladies, thoughts please.

I've been reading the blogs - we're spotty, tired, thirsty, some of the triallists have seen improvement and some haven't but what are we actually going to see by taking these pills for three months? Should we already be seeing changes for the better in our nails, hair skin? I'm the spottiest I have ever been and to be honest my partner's threatened to put my shiny silver box in the bin - however, I am determined to see it through. Ladies, thoughts please.

Hi Loui

My skin is also incredibly dry -so much so that my GP gave me special derma cream for most of my body - I am on the trial and desperately await change for the better

I have yet to see any improvement to my skin. It has been spottier and more unpredictable and in a worse state than before. But it's still too early to blame the pills. If after a month I get the same spottiness though I will really start to question whether I should be taking them!

I agree with you willir10 - I'm waiting for something magical to happen but nothing amazing as yet. I'm 16 days in and feel the same as I did on day 1. I had a couple of the symptoms that others have had but I'm not sure how much of that was psychological because I feel absolutely normal now. They do say that differences can be seen after about two months so I suppose we'll just have to wait and see :-)

I'm now half way through my first pack, and yes I have been more  thirsty, which of course means more trips to the loo!!! Which brings me on to another point, which is odd, but.... Am I the only one to notice that my wee is quite yellow since taking these tablets? Odd or what? Tell me I'm not the only one!!!

Lind you are not the only one - a lurid yellow wee - like I've been working with Homer at the Chemical Plant!

I am trying not to analyse my skin, hair and nails on a daily basis, which is proving very difficult.  Must have too much time on my hands.  I generally have my hair blowed dried a couple of times a week and my hair dresser, (without knowing I was taking the tablets) commented that my hair was much thicker and in felt in better condition.....  I have had none of the tiredness and thirst etc the others mention.  I do feel that my skin is looking better, had no spots...I do think that what I am waiting to happen with the tablets is probably unrealistic and have to try and tame my wildest dreams where I wake up looking 20 years younger.

Although I'm not on the trial myself, I would love to hear if there is progress with trouble areas. My outer arms are terrible. I have tiny red blotches that take months to shift. The skin is very dry and I am too ill disciplined (and busy!) to constantly slaver myself in moisturiser. It would be great if when I took the supplement I would see my red splotches disappear quicker and fewer dry patches as the vitamins got the skin in a better condition. That makes sense to me- that vitamins can improve the renewal processes of skin growth... we change our diet to improve our health right?
