Got to Lower Cholestrol

Hello all

 

went to dr's today got to lower my cholestrol !!!! any tips ??? apart from sew up my mouth ... lol

 

Received the form sent back on saturday and now awaiting the first months supply

 

Lets hope we all see results !!!

If you need to have loads of garlic  then garlic pearls can be quite good because they claim that they are entirely odour free.

When my Dad had to lower his cholesterol he took them, and was also advised to lower his consumption of  animal fats.

Another good thing which he tried was lecithin - you can get it as granules which he sprinkled on his  cereal but they also sell it as capsules now.

Hi, I have high cholesterol too, but it's more of a hereditory thing with me though, I did try more  excercise, and eating more of the oats and veg, but it actually went up!

My  Dr isn''t concerned as the rest of my risk factors are low. What did yours suggest?

change my diet but I already eat pretty healthy lots of veg and salad... but this week I have knocked bread, bacon sandwich at work on the head and am eating porridge... also I saw that alovera gel helps lower it so now taking a glass of that every morning.... yuk !!

I agree with Carrie, flora is great and so is the activia range. They helped me lower mine and it didnt take forever either.

There are a number of foods that are beneficial. Oats, garlic, oily fish and nuts are the ones I can think of immediately. Flora pro active was also shown to be beneficial...its supposed to have quite a drastic lipid lowering effect.  I'm ok on the garlic...I must be 99% garlic the amount I use (and I wonder why no one wants to kiss me!!)
