Continuing the Perfectil discussion...
Since the Perfectil trial ended I have been quite reflective (yup, very deep!) over the experience and the 'lasting' lessons that I have taken away from that period. I thought I'd share with you...
Apart from the skin glow and radiance that was noticed by many, I realised that I now pay particular attention to my skincare regime - inside and out. I make an extra effort everyday to drink a lot of water and I find that I am now consuming more than my required 'five-a-day'. A pleasant result is that I have been losing an average of three pounds a week now and will soon achieve my target weight. Also, it doesn't matter what time I get home, or how tired I feel, I try to ensure that I wipe, wash, tone and moisturise my face and neck each night. I feel so much better for it and my confidence levels have been massively improved by the responses I get. Yesterday a friend commented on how she had thought that another one of my friends was 'a lot older' than me :-)) (I'm hoping said friend hasn't taken up my invite to join the TalkPerfection forum yet!!)
Finally, I am now convinced that in this century it would be close to impossible to get all the nutrients that one needs from diet alone. If time doesn't hold one to ransom then pesticides or not-straight-from-the ground production would. Therefore, I have been looking for the right supplements (apart from the run-of-the-mill products) to re-create the magic of Perfectil.
Unfortunately, even though I can honestly admit that I owe these recent improvements to Perfectil, the price tag on it has resulted in me being disloyal and opting for another well-researched and recommded 'skin' supplement. I now use NeoCell's Collagen tablets. They are similarly priced to Perfectil in Boots, but I only pay £11.95 for a bottle of 350 tablets (six-a-day) in Costco (I can't remember now whether or not that includes VAT...)
All in all, even though I may now only buy and use Perfectil when it is on offer ;-), I still say a really big, "THANK YOU" for kick-starting a lifestyle change that I had been postponing for years!
Hi Sreamy. Thanks for sharing this, it left me feeling inspired to do something positive like this myself. just goes to show that if you have a go at everything - skincare, diet and the dreaded exercise you can really make a big difference. Have loved all the blog posts during the trial more companies should be as open as this.
