Tricologic Trial . . .
I've been meaning to write this first post for at least a week now but with my 5 month old puppy asleep at my feet and my 6 month old baby in bed I've finally sat down to get started . . . I fear it's no wonder I'm going bald haha.
So my name is Colette and I'm turning 30 next month! I had my first baby in the middle of last year and like most new mums am completely besotted wtih my little man. I'm still on maternity leave and enjoying spending time at home with my boy - the idea of going back to work in the summer just makes me feel ill.
I applied for the trial as I am suffering from significant post-natal hair loss. I've always had masses of thick hair - so much so that I've been known to complain that it's a pain to blow dry, my hairdresser never mixes enought colourant first time and every time I have someone different cut my hair they comment on just how much I have . . . not so anymore. I've now got obvious thinning around my temples and my hair is thining in patches. I don't suppose I'd be so bothered if it was even! I was actually looking foward to loosing a bit of hair after I'd had my baby but as they say - be careful what you wish for! I'm starting to get a few bits of whispy re-growth but all that's really doing is adding to the mess!
I'm not really sure what I expect to happen during the trial. I guess I hope that the overal condition of my remaining hair will improve and that I will start to notice my hair growing back and regaining it's former glory! I swear I will never complain about having too much hair again!
I will consider the trial a raving success if I don't have to carefully tie my hair back to esentially give myself a comb over on a daily basis! *fingers crossed*
(I must get my partner to get on and take some "before" pictures for me!)
