Still some way to go before I reach my target weight if I am being honest - which is why I would be delighted if I was chosen to trial the Timex Health Tracker. Losing weight seems so much harder once you have had children - but I am determined not to give in and would be more than happy to report my experiences.
I would love to be chosen to trial the Timex Health Tracker,my goal is to get more active/toned & loose some weight for our first family holiday in yrs. im already panicking about fitting into any of my summer clothes let alone looking good in a bikini! Its going to be an active holiday & My fitness regime has become nearly non existant since working part-time, So to get Motivated i started a ''walk to school bus'',where i walk children to & from school 4x a day.its not a long walk to school, but it does feel great walk & good for the childen too,
I successfully managed to lose nearly 2 stone in weight over a year I have been on a plateau ever since. I changed my workout earlier this year to Beachbody Insanity training and have been doing that for 5 1/2 months, no change in weight but lost an 1 1/2" from my waist and an inch from my hips. I have now added weight training and bodylastics and increased my calorie intake but nothing. Banital, lipofuze What else can I try, I mean surely I can't stay on a plateau forever?
This would be fantastic for me to get back on track at the gym and walking my dog. Am thinking of getting something like this but it would be really good to try before I buy, would love to sample this to help me lose even more than me 9 and a half stone, believe me I need all the helpI can get these days
I was in a serious car crash in 2005 & was told that I now have a degenerative spinal disease. After years of slowly builing my spinal strength up I have started to go running again. The competitive streak in me wants me to beat my PB everytime, but the watch my husband has provided me with has seen better days, and weighs about the same as me. I struggle to see the time on it, and when I press stop it doesn't It doesn't actually do anything other than tell the time! It would be fantastic to see exaclty how far I am managing to run/walk and even better to know what calories I am using!
I need help as I tend to forget how much I've done, or eat, and I can also get lost in my day to day life. Having something like this would make it easier for me to keep track of what I'm doing and keep me motivated. Time can fly by, then it's the end of the day, and I've missed out on another day to take a step towards a more healthy lifestyle, having something like this to help me would be really beneficial. I've always wanted to be able to track my steps as I never know if I'm moving enough. It also seems like a fun way to keep an eye on how healthy you are. I've tried to count calories on my own and it took too much of my time, when you're busy something like this makes it all more achievable, and I would love to be able to trial this product.
I have recently started training again after 6 months of doing virtually nothing - and it shows! I have put on nearly a stone in that time and am desperate to lose it again. It would be great to know that I am working at the optimum levels and will be good to see just how much activity you do during a normal day without realising it. As a busy mum of an active four year old, who also runs a pub, I always feel as though I am running around but not really getting anywhere! It would be nice to see that I am actually getting results even when I don't realise it
I think it woud actually make you realise that all the short walks you do like to the local shop or to a friends really do add up! As a mother of two young children i dont get the chance to go to the gym often but i think this would encourage me to realise you dont have to go to the gym to keep fit! walking short trips even up and down the stairs can really and add up :-) and make you feel good about yourself and give you kick start to walking!
I have had on going problems with my mobility over the last year (balance problem) and have not been to exercise/walk/run like I used to.
I am getting a bit , errm , bigger, I can feel a spread that never used to be there.
I am trying to increase the amount of exercise/movement I have in a day but have also been advised to do it gradually and steadily. I think this would be a god-send and motivate me and keep me on healthy safe exercise regime
I have recently lost around 5 stone so now need help maintaining this healthy weight. I eat a lot less but really need to increase my exercise so I can eat normally and be fit and healthy. I would love to review the health tracker because I think it would help me focus on being both slim and healthy!
I've been a size 18 for over 15 years... i've no idea now I got here from a size 12 in the 80's! I made the decision last year to loose the weight. I was really pleasd to finally start my journey after 'off and on' unsuccessful diets - I lost 2 1/2 stone!!! Sadly I got complacent and a stone has crept back on.... how miserable after all my hard work! This year is MY YEAR... I started to diet and 'up' my exercise last week and i've started to loose again... this would deffinately help me acheive my long over due goal... I promise this year i'm going to acheive my desired size 12 once more... and i'll need all the support and help I can get
I had a hysterectomy 6 months ago, and now feel back to my old self, i used to be pretty fit and am well on my way back, powerwalking is now my main activity, as well as other stuff, would love this and it would get the workout it needs for the review i would give it.
Before our dog died I enjoyed walking everyday. Since we've moved house and I've started a new job it hs been really difficult to motivate myself and I've been putting off walking. We are getting married in August and I have my dress fitting in May. I need to shift the stone that I have out on since Millie died in April, so that I can walk down the aisle feeling confident and gorgeous.
Last year I was 60.
For my birthday I adopted an exracing greyhound. (Wonderful)
Last week I joined a jiving group. (Great fun)
I would love to trial this product for you as it would help me see if I am going in the right direction.
Fitness is the key.
So fingers crossed!
Thank you and have a nice day.
The Timex Health Tracker sounds just what I need to help me lose weight, get fit and get back to normal after cancer treatment. I suffer from fatigue and also put on weight during treatment, but being overweight and not doing enough exercise are major risk factors for the cancer coming back. Being able to keep track of how much exercise I've done (and how much I've eaten) would be a huge help, and being able to see that I'm improving would be really motivating and encourage me to keep going and do more. I'm so frustrated that I don't seem to be getting better that any sensible help would be greatly appreciated. It'd be fantastic to get well enough to be free of cancer for good and also start doing some fund raising for cancer and other charities.
TIMEX© Health Tracker™ would certainly help to contribute to reach my target so that I would be able to monitor on a daily basis the number of calories consumed when commuting by bike every day, during my gym/classes and the Sunday walk even when I walk to my local store for my weekly food shopping. It also would help to programme my calorie intake with my meals... Such instrument would encourage anyone to keep going with diet and sport
For one, I have no commitments to stay to a diet and head off to the gym for some exercise. Why? Simple. Lack of motivation and uncertainty. I have no confirmation of what i am doing is paying off. But if that little watch of yours works, it would make gazillion of lifes easier.
Hi I would love to trial this, I joined slimming world last September and have lost 1 and a half stones and got to my target weight, I have started walking nearly everyday straight after dropping my children off at school on a morning, and have just recently taken up zumba. This would be brilliant to keep track.
Hi, I would absolutely love to test drive this Timex Health Tracker. I have recently been diagnosed with osteoporosis and I'm only 43. This was a huge shock. I have been advised that one of the best ways forward is to do 'weighted' exercise, ie. walking and running etc. I have recently been doing a LOT of walking with the help of my best friends, my husband and our dog. This Timex Health Tracker would also be a great travelling companion. It would help to keep track of how much walking I'm actually doing and, yes I admit it, it would be great to know how many calories I'm using up because I could certainly do with losing a little weight. I would be quite happy to let you know my findings and whether it has helped me plan for my future.
