Seven Super Beauty Finds

facebookaddict

Just wanted to share my recent beauty discoveries with you, if ever you needed an excuse to treat yourself. It's always good to know things actually work before you splash out.

1. The Eyelure Brow Beauty Kit. is a complete kit designed to shape, shade, tidy and enhance your eyebrows. The kit includes celebrity-inspired stencils (I opted for Catherine) and tweezers to achieve the your preferred shape for the brows, a defining brow pencil for both blondies and brunettes, an ultra-hold brow gel to give a sleek finish and an arch enhancer to highlight. Brow Beauty offers a very quick and utterly mistake-proof way to making the most out of your brows. Even I can do it.

2. help: clear skin from WorksWithWater is the most successful acne treatment I've come across. It contains Praventin™ a clinically proven bioactive protein, rich in lactoferrin, which has been shown to reduce the development of the bacteria responsible for many skin impurities, helping to prevent the formation of blemishes and spots due to its antimicrobial effects.

I thought I had tried everything to treat my acne but with help: clear skin there's no lengthy bathroom procedures or underperforming products. Just a simple soluble formula containing ingredients clinically proven to improve my skin.

What I love best, is that you can dissolve it in COFFEE! Simply empty a sachet twice daily into your favourite beverage or soft food (hot or cold), stir until dissolved and look forward to clearer healthier skin in as little as eight weeks. I noticed the difference within a month.

3. Henna Pens. Curiosa of Sweden have created a pen filled with henna ink, enabling you to create your own henna tattoo designs, with or without a stencil, as an alternative to the commitment, time and pain of a traditional tattoo. Henna pens are available in original (and longest-lasting) henna colour (rust-brown to red-brown, depending on your skin colour), ruby, emerald and jasper brown, so you can match your tattoo to your mood and clothes. I went for green. Beautifully packaged, they are as quick and simple to use as fibre-tip pens, and contain no artificial additives colours or PPD.To allow higher precision when designing, the pen has a thin tip and a thick tip, and the tattoo can be made darker by reapplying colour regularly. It's a good way to try different designs and see if you really want the commitment of a permanent tattoo.

4. Witch Blemish Stick is a life-saver for tackling the breakouts I get when I'm stressed or pre-menstrual (i.e. quite a lot of the time). The ultimate in blemish control, Witch Blemish Stick helps break down excess oils and fights the bacteria that cause spots. I carry it around with me so I can dab it on as soon as sports start to appear.

5. Another winner from Witch Skincare is the Witch Concealer. Anyone who needs a cosmetic product that hides blemishes while also combating the cause of spots will find Witch Concealer the perfect solution. It’s easy to use either alone or under foundation and contains natural tea tree and witch hazel. It blends really well and is a great disguise. I like it for the name, too!

6. Like many parents, I find it difficult to relax, or feel guilty if I do indulge in some down-time. I also get really het up during the day, particularly when tasks are piling up and I'm not achieving anything. Stress certainly shows in my facial expression but, more than that, it is one of the biggest factors in prematurely ageing our bodies. To help me grab relaxation time and reduce stressful periods in the day, I play Music for Beauty when I'm doing mundane chores or starting to feel my frustration levels rise.

7. When I remember to use it, I'm always pleased with Neutrogena's Visibly Clear Oil-Free Moisturiser. Facial washes, toners and spot treatments for congested skin are ten a penny, but it's hard to find moisturising products that don't clog the skin. Neutrogena's unique formula contains MicroClear which helps reduce and prevent spots for clearer and smoother skin. Even better, it helps fade spot marks, which is great for someone with acne scars like me.
