Maybelline 'Falsies' Mascara
I bought this mascara a few days ago in Boots, for £5.99 (and I had a voucher for £3 off a £15 spend!) as I loved Colossal Volum' Express so I thought I would give this a try. I love it! It really makes your eyelashes huge, especially when curled. I highly recommend it!
On the other hand I am not so keen on Maybelline's Dream Satin Liquid foundation. It just leaves my skin feeling a bit greasy, as if it hasn't dried/settled in properly and doesn't do a very good job of covering spots etc. The palest shade is also a bit to orange for me. It isn't awful- it just doesn't work for me.
My other recent purchase which I adore (!) is my Sleek Ink pot eyeliner gel in 'Dominatrix' (black) which is great for creating 'cat-eyes' and stays put throughout the day. It is £3.99 in Superdrug (10% off for students) and comes with a little brush so you are ready to apply. It is really easy to do and looks very bold. Teamed with some brightening eyeshadow and Falsies mascara it is the perfect day-look!
I also just bought Christian Lacroix C'est La Fete Patchouli perfume from Debenhams website, which was £9.90 reduced from £33! I am looking forward to getting this in the post : ) I have seen good reviews for it. The last perfume I bought was Gwen Stefani L.A.M.B which was only £5.50 on fragrancedirect however I was very disappointed with the scent, it reminded me of something my Nanna would wear- which isn't what I expected from Gwen Stefani at all! My favourite perfume at the moment is definitely Sarah Jessica Parker's Covet which is delicious!
That is all for now, I could go on all day, but I best get back to my dissertation. If only I could write 10,000 words on make-up instead of Ancient History! x
